  • since 2003, the number of these establishments has increased approximately 20%
  • there has been a 15% decrease in the number of professionals that leave the industry
  • the rate of new hires and turnovers has decreased approximately 16.5%

Depending on the career field that the individual has chosen, when they graduate from Beauty College and have earned their certificate or degree, they are initially referred to as either beauticians or cosmetologists.
