Private Student Loans

Lu Ross Academy is approved by SLM Financial (Sallie Mae) to offer private Student Loans. These programs can make the tuition very affordable. The tuition for a program can be spread over 2 to 15 years depending on program length and loan amount. The Administration office can assist you in obtaining a loan if you qualify. Please contact the Admissions Department at 805-643-5690 Ext 13 if you want to apply for a loan.

The SLM Career Training Student Loan has:
• Easy Repayment Terms - Repayment can be up to 15 years.
Interest only payments or defer payments for up to 12 months.
Deferred payments while in school are $10 per month. The $10 goes towards repayment of interest.
Repayment period begins 30 days after disbursement.
No penalty for early repayment.
• Interest Rate and Fees - Interest rates are variable based on prime rate.
Your spread and low fees will be determined based on your (or your co-borrower's) credit profile.
• Quick Approvals - The entire application process can take as little as 24-48 hours if all information is submitted properly.
• Co-Borrower Drop Option - Student makes first 24 payments on time and maintains good credit, can petition to have Co-Borrower dropped from loan.

Important
You must complete the application along with supplying a signature I.D. and the most recent pay stub from your (and/or your co-borrower's) work.
