Tuesday, March 24, 2020 Update

Lu Ross Academy will not re-open on Monday, March 31 as hoped. We are monitoring State and County announcements very carefully and re-opening is not possible on March 31.

  • Our plan now is to switch to distance learning for the next two weeks. Distance Learning is different from in person education, so we will all be on a huge learning curve. We ask for your patience during this time. D.L. will start on Monday 3/30 for evening students and on 3/31 for day students. We are trying to mimic your in-school schedule as closely as possible.
  • The School plans on re-opening on Monday April 13 for evening classes and April 14 for day classes. We will be using enhanced sanitary protocols and may not be able to re-start client services immediately. This is our plan and our hope to re-open on April 13. If the virus situation has not improved at that time, we may have to wait and continue distance learning for another two weeks.
  • Students who were scheduled to start on March 30, 2020 are now scheduled to start on April 13.
  • Tours will continue to take place as originally scheduled. Safety guidelines such as social distancing of 6 feet separations will be followed. You may call or text the Admissions Department at 805-856-6825 for information or to make an appointment.
STAY SAFE, STAY HEALTHY, THINK POSITIVE AND WE’LL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS MESS

Tuesday, March 17th

In order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 virus, we have decided to take the following steps:

  • Suspend guest services in our Clinic Classroom until further notice.
  • Classes have been suspended and will re-open on Monday, March 31st.
  • The Administration staff will be at the school on a shortened schedule to help out students with any issues.
  • Tours will continue to take place as originally scheduled. You may call or text the Admissions Department at 805-856-6825.

Thank you and we’ll all be back together soon.
