Course Description

You can’t learn skin care techniques on a dummy. You need people – lots of people. Lu Ross Academy has a full service day spa that was voted Best Day Spa in Ventura County by the Ventura County Reporter in 2002 and we’ve only gotten better. Our repeat business alone keeps our students busy. In the same 600 hours that all schools in California teach the basic mandated curriculum, we also teach post-graduate extras like micro-dermal abrasion, chemical peels, acne treatments, body treatments and many other professional skin therapies. You will attend special advanced classes given by Dermalogica and Murad, the leaders in modern skin care. Lu Ross Academy uses MAC Cosmetics in the make-up section of the Aesthetics program.
